Saipan gunman kills four and himself

A South Korean official said a gunman opened fire on the island of Saipan, killing four people before fatally shooting himself.

The Foreign Ministry official said local officials on the Pacific island confirmed that the shooting occurred today near a tourist attraction on Saipan.

He said five people were killed, including the gunman.

Eight others were wounded, including six South Koreans.
