Suicide bomb at market kills eight

A suicide bomber struck at a goat market in north-west Pakistan today, killing eight people.

Abdul Malik, the mayor of Adazi a town 10 miles (16km) south of Peshawar, was thought by officials to be the intended target. He survived the attack but was wounded, police said.
