Man unwittingly reports desperate daughter to police

A man unknowingly lodged a police complaint against his daughter when he found his house had been burgled, only to discover she had stolen the money to marry her boyfriend.

The 38-year-old Indian complained that £300,000 rupees (€4,300) and gold jewellery worth 650,000 rupees (€9,320) were missing from his home in Mumbai.
