Doctor weeps as she denies killing patients

A German doctor wept as she told a court today she was not guilty of deliberately killing 13 cancer patients with morphine overdoses.

The treatment was not appropriate for most of the patients, the doses were too high in the other cases, and the patients, aged between 52 and 96, were not all terminally ill, the court heard.
