Ahmadinejad 'proud Holocaust denial has angered West'

Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said today he was proud his denial of the Holocaust had angered the West, as he prepared for a trip to the United Nations to stress a message of “peace and friendship”.

Ahmadinejad’s latest comment about the killing of millions of Jews during the Second World War comes as Iran is locked in a bitter dispute with the US and other Western nations over its nuclear programme.
