US Coast Guard conducts training near 9/11 memorial

The Coast Guard was conducting a training exercise in the Potomac River in Washington DC moments before US President Barack Obama and his motorcade crossed a nearby bridge today.

Coast Guard Chief Keith Moore said no shots were fired as part of the exercise.
