Swine flu hits cruise ship

Dozens of crew on a cruise ship were confined to their cabins with suspected swine flu today.

Royal Caribbean’s Voyager of the Seas arrived today in Villefranche-sur-Mer as part of a Mediterranean tour, and local officials allowed the ship’s 3,600 passengers to visit the town before it left later for Marseille.

Around 60 crew have been told to stay in their cabins and another 70 are showing flu symptoms.
