International troops could face action over Afghan civilian deaths

Afghanistan’s president today promised to hold international troops more accountable for civilian casualties.

Increasing numbers of casualties plus house raids and detentions have caused too much friction between groups that are working toward a common goal, said Hamid Karzai.
