Jakarta: 'Third hotel bomb failed to go off'

A third bomb was set to go off but malfunctioned before two suicide attackers blew themselves up in hotels in Jakarta last week, an Indonesian police official said today.

Ketut Untung Yoga, of the national police, said a device found on the 18th floor of the Marriott hotel was intended to blow up first.
