Third victim dies after German parade crash
Police say a man has died of injuries sustained when a car ploughed into a street parade in western Germany over the weekend – bringing the death toll to three.
A spokesman said the 34-year-old man died yesterday, while another person is still in a critical condition.
A car driven by a 79-year-old man drove into the parade in the town of Menden on Sunday.
The cause of the accident remains unclear and the driver so far has given no information.
Local prosecutors are investigating the driver on suspicion of involuntary manslaughter and bodily harm.
