Labour humiliated in county council elections

Labour suffered humiliation in the local elections today after the party lost three of its four county councils to the Tories in the UK.

The party lost Derbyshire County Council following 28 years of rule, while they were also beaten by the Conservatives in Lancashire and Staffordshire.
