Baby P's mother jailed indefinitely

The mother of the British toddler known as Baby P was today condemned as selfish and calculating as she was jailed indefinitely today for allowing him to die during a campaign of abuse.

Judge Stephen Kramer said she neglected her baby son for the sake of her relationship with her sadistic boyfriend – who also raped a two-year-old girl.
