Huge EuroMillions jackpot claimed in Spain

A Spanish ticketholder has claimed last night’s €126m EuroMillions lottery jackpot, organisers said today.

The winning ticket for the rollover draw was sold in a central Madrid lottery sales office.

The identity of the winner has not been revealed.

Previous EuroMillions winners include two French citizens and a Portuguese national who shared €183.5m in February 2006, and Limerick's Dolores McNamara who collected €115m in July 2005.
