German authorities said 273 police officers were injured in this year’s May Day riots in the capital Berlin.

German authorities said 273 police officers were injured in this year’s May Day riots in the capital Berlin.

Berlin police chief Dieter Glietsch said that 14 of the officers were badly enough hurt that they will not be able to immediately return to their jobs.
