A student at one of India’s top colleges has designed jewellery for diabetics that is edible in an emergency.

Asif Kureshi, who studies at the National Institute of Design, makes gems that are literally good enough to eat. He is targeting markets from people faced with sugar levels that drop quickly to little children with a sweet tooth and pregnant women craving for a snack.
