Hackers gain control of almost two million computers

Cyber criminals infected a network of almost two million computers around the world, including machines inside UK government departments, security experts have disclosed.

The global network of 1.9 million computers which were infected with malicious software, or malware, was tracked to a cyber gang of six people based in the Ukraine.
