Hawking 'comfortable' in hospital

Physicist Stephen Hawking was today said to be “comfortable” after being taken to hospital by ambulance.

Professor Hawking, 67, who is based at Cambridge University, was admitted to Addenbrooke’s hospital in Cambridge on Monday.
