Authorities hunt manatee killers

Environmental officers in the Dominican Republic said they are investigating who may be responsible for the death of a manatee that was tied to a tree along the coast.

The marine mammal was found trapped in an illegal fishing net, according to the Department of the Environment and Natural Resources.
