Chechen president defends honour killings

The president of Chechnya has justified the right of male relatives to carry out ’honour killings’ after seven young women were found shot dead.

Ramzan Kadyrov said the women, whose bodies were found dumped by the roadside, had “loose morals” and were rightfully shot.
