US President Barack Obama has discussed the global economic crisis and improving US relations with Latin America with his counterparts in Australia and Colombia.

US President Barack Obama has discussed the global economic crisis and improving US relations with Latin America with his counterparts in Australia and Colombia.

The White House said Mr Obama telephoned Australian Prime Minister Kevin Rudd and Colombian President Alvaro Uribe, his first talks with either leader since his January 20 inauguration.
