25 held in 'plot to restore Baath party'

Twenty-five people working in the Iraq interior ministry have been arrested in an alleged plot to restore Saddam Hussein’s banned party, an Iraqi security official said today.

The arrested people include a brigadier general but are mostly low-level ministry employees. They were taken into custody over the last three days.
