The Archbishop of Canterbury today described the situation in Zimbabwe as a “complete humanitarian outrage” as he added his voice to a chorus of condemnation of the Mugabe regime.

Dr Rowan Williams said state aggression towards civil society, most recently against the few doctors remaining in Zimbabwe to treat the sick and desperate population, was unacceptable.
