Bush's mother hospitalised after 'pain'

US President George W Bush’s mother Barbara is in a Texas hospital after complaining of a “little bit of pain”, it was announced today.

Family spokesman Jim McGrath said former first lady Mrs Bush, 83, went to Methodist Hospital in Houston last night as a precaution.
