N Korea's Kim 'running country from hospital'

South Korean intelligence indicates that ailing North Korean leader Kim Jong Il suffered a serious setback and has been taken to hospital, it was reported today.

The report in the Dong-a Ilbo citing an unnamed government official comes a day after Japan’s prime minister told MPs in Tokyo that the reclusive authoritarian was probably in the hospital, though “not unable” to make decisions as North Korea’s leader.
