US president George Bush has sent a stern warning to Russia that it cannot lay claim to two disputed regions in Georgia.

US president George Bush has sent a stern warning to Russia that it cannot lay claim to two disputed regions in Georgia.

Mr Bush said there is no room for debate on the issue and said the breakaway provinces of South Ossetia and Abkhazia are part of Georgia and lie within internationally-recognised borders.
