At least 32 people died when several coaches of a train caught fire in southern India today.

At least 32 people died when several coaches of a train caught fire in southern India today.

Police said the Gautami Express caught fire 120 miles north of Hyderabad, the capital of Andhra Pradesh state.

They said the fire appeared to have been caused by a short circuit in the train’s wiring.

Passengers pulled the emergency alarm to stop the train as soon as the fire broke out.
