India blasts leave 15 dead
Fifteen people have been killed and more than 100 wounded in a series of explosions in the western Indian city of Ahmadabad, government ministers said tonight.
Nitin Patel, the urban development minister of Gujarat state, said the blasts went off in several districts of the city tonight.
Federal home secretary Madhukar Gupta said that “so far our reports indicate that there were 13 or 14 blasts.”
The blasts come a day after seven small explosions hit the southern technology hub of Bangalore, killing two people.
