Police arrest fugitive Karadzic

The office of Serbian president said last night that former Bosnian Serb leader Radovan Karadzic had been arrested in Serbia.

President Boris Tadic’s office said in a statement that Karadzic was arrested last night “in an action by the Serbian security services”.
