Kurdish rebels killed by Turkish airstrikes

Nineteen Kurdish rebels were killed in military airstrikes in south-east Turkey.

A statement posted on the Turkish military website said the airstrikes were launched in response to a rebel attack which killed two soldiers late yesterday on a military outpost in Hakkari province.
