UK: Rare Picasso sold for £81,260

A rare Pablo Picasso painting showing the artist in a lover’s clinch that was found lying in a bedroom sold today for £81,260 (€101,612).

The early watercolour by the Spanish artist, called Etreinte, was found propped up against a wall in a West Country house alongside two important equine paintings by British painters George Stubbs and Alfred Munnings. They sold for £53,775 (€67,247) and £65,725 (€82,191) respectively.
