Thirteen civilians killed in Tibet protests: Governor

Tibet’s governor says 13 civilians were killed and dozens wounded in violence that broke out in Lhasa on Friday.

Champa Phuntsok gave the figures today at a news conference called to explain the government’s response to anti-government protests over the past week.
