Searchers looking for an Australian navy battle cruiser lost in 1941 have found the wreck of the German vessel that sank it, said Australia’s prime minister Kevin Rudd.

Both the HMAS Sydney and the smaller DKM Kormoran sank after a battle off the Australian west coast on November 19, 1941.
