Thaksin pleads not guilty to corruption charges

Ousted prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra has pleaded innocent before Thailand’s Supreme Court in one of two corruption cases against him.

The court session today comes just a day before he begins a monthlong trip to England. The court already has granted him permission for that trip.
