Sarkozy and Bruni spend wedding night at Versailles

French President Nicolas Sarkozy and his new wife, model and singer Carla Bruni, spent their wedding night in a former hunting lodge near the palace at Versailles, news reports said today.

An Associated Press photographer spotted the newlyweds taking a stroll, hand-in-hand, in Versailles’ gardens, a day after their small, private wedding at the presidential Elysee Palace.
