EU threatens Kenya with aid cuts over violence

EU foreign ministers today threatened to cut aid to Kenya unless its rival political factions agree to a power-sharing pact and restore stability.

The 27 European Union ministers said that until the factions reach a legitimate solution they “cannot conduct business as usual with Kenya”.
