Iowa caucus victories for Obama and Huckabee

Barack Obama and Mike Huckabee won the Iowa caucuses as Americans gave their first indications of who they want to run for the presidency.

Illinois senator Mr Obama, who would be the first African American US president, and former Baptist preacher Mr Huckabee will now have five days of momentum and free media before the world’s focus shifts to the New Hampshire primary on Tuesday.
