'Enough evidence to charge' new ANC leader
There is enough evidence to charge newly-elected ruling ANC party leader Jacob Zuma with corruption, South Africa’s top prosecutor said today.
Mokotedi Mpshe said prosecutors would announce in the New Year the next step in their investigation into allegations that Mr Zuma, who was elected on Tuesday, accepted bribes of four million rands (nearly €416,480) from French arms company Thint to stop investigations into a multibillion-pound arms deal.
