Iran gets first nuclear fuel supplies

Iran received the first shipment of nuclear fuel from Russia today for its new reactor, suspected by some to be a potential source for atomic weapons.

Russia helped in the reactor’s construction and Iran maintains that the plant in the southern town of Bushehr is strictly for civilian purposes.
