Dodi 'planned escape from Paris hotel'
The doomed plan to sneak Diana, Princess of Wales, out the back door of the Ritz Hotel away from the paparazzi on the night of her death was devised by her lover Dodi Fayed himself, the couple's inquest heard today.
But details of the secret scheme - which led to security man Henri Paul driving the couple rather than a professional chauffeur - were blurted out by Kes Wingfield, one of Dodi's British bodyguards in front of a crowd of photographers, it was claimed.
