Turkish parliament approves incursion into Iraq

Turkey's parliament overwhelmingly approved a possible cross-border offensive against Kurdish rebels in northern Iraq today.

But the government appears willing to give more time to put diplomatic pressure on the US-backed Iraqi administration.
