28 die as Cuban train hits bus
At least 28 people died after a train smashed into a bus on a level crossing in Cuba.
Another 73 were injured, including 15 who are critically ill.
The cause of the crash on Saturday about 500 miles east of Havana is still being investigated.
Reports said the train was travelling from the eastern city of Santiago to the coastal city of Manzanillo when it hit the bus heading from Bayamo to the coastal community of Campechuela.
The train dragged the bus on to a bridge, from where it plunged into a ravine.
Buses are scarce and often overloaded in rural Cuba, where large trucks are also often commonly used as public transportation.
Railway crossings in rural areas are often poorly sited, marked only with a small sign and do not have automated gates and signals.
