Henriette strengthens into hurricane off Mexico

Tropical storm Henriette strengthened into a hurricane off Mexico’s Pacific coast today, US forecasters said.

Henriette was packing sustained winds of 75mph and was on a path that would take it near or over Mexico’s southern Baja Peninsula later in the day, the US National Hurricane Centre said.
