At least 21 killed in Baghdad blast

A parked car bomb exploded near a market in a predominantly Shiite area in Baghdad today, killing at least 21 people and wounding more than 60, police said.

The US military also said five American troops had died in fighting this week - four north-east of the capital and one in Baghdad.
