Bush 'taken ill' at G8 summit

US president George Bush has been taken ill at the G8 summit in Germany, news reports said today.

It was reported that the White House issued a statement saying Mr Bush’s illness was ’not serious’.

Mr Bush has a ’stomach ailment’ and is resting in his room at the G8 summit in Heiligendamm, the Associated Press said.
