A doctor who waged a defiant campaign to help other people kill themselves, is preparing to leave prison next week.

Retired pathologist Dr Jack Kevorkian left bodies at hospital emergency rooms and motels and videotaped a death that was broadcast on CBS’ “60 Minutes” news magazine show. His actions prompted battles over assisted suicide in many U.S. states and earned him the nickname “Dr Death.”
