Iran’s hard-line president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has today stepped up his rhetoric defending his country’s nuclear programme.

He told a gathering of families of Iranian soldiers fallen in the Iraq-Iran war that Iran will not only continue its controversial enrichment of uranium, but will also become a nuclear fuel exporter.
