Bomb-threat plane makes emergency landing in Munich

An Athens-to-Strasbourg flight made an emergency landing in Munich this morning after a bomb threat was reported, a German air traffic control spokeswoman said.

The plane landed at 10.45am (9.45am Irish time) and was directed to an area of the airport set aside for emergencies, spokeswoman Anja Tomic said. She had no further immediate details.
