Casablanca rocked by suicide bombers

Two suicide bombers walked into the middle of a street in Casablanca today and blew themselves up, a Moroccan Interior Ministry official said. The bombers were killed and a woman was injured, he said.

The official initially said the explosion was near an American cultural centre in the city, although he wasn’t sure exactly how close.

Three suicide bombers also blew themselves up Tuesday in Casablanca and police shot and killed a fourth man who authorities said appeared to be preparing to detonate explosives.
