Greek Cypriots demolish wall in divided capital

Greek Cypriots demolished a wall along the boundary that splits Europe’s last divided capital, Nicosia, early today.

“Tonight, we demolished a checkpoint on our side,” Cypriot president Tassos Papadopoulos told reporters in Brussels.
