Two car bombs exploded in an outdoor market in Baghdad today, killing at least 11 people in the deadliest attack since US and Iraqi forces began a major security push around the capital.

Two car bombs exploded in an outdoor market in Baghdad today, killing at least 11 people in the deadliest attack since US and Iraqi forces began a major security push around the capital.

Two cars rigged with explosives tore through the market in the mostly Shiite district of New Baghdad. At least 56 people were injured, police said.
